Web Notifications (Banner)

Create a Web Notification banner to be displayed at the top of the company’s website to provide customers with up-to-date information about the company.
 
Only one Web Notification may be enabled. To modify the message displayed, follow the steps below.

Configure a Web Notification

  1. Log in to the platform.
  2. Click Apps from the navigation menu, then click Web Notifications.
  3. Complete the following fields:
    1. Notification Banner Message: Add the verbiage you would like to display on the banner.
    2. Primary Colors: Type in the color hex code (ex: #ffffff) for the text color on the banner.
      1. Text Color: Type in the color hex code (ex: #000000) for the text color of the banner.
      2. Background Color: Type in the color hex code (ex: #000000) for the background color of the banner.
    3. Calls To Action: Buttons added to the end of the Notification Banner Message.
      1. Call to action button text: Add the verbiage you would like to display on the button
      2. Call to action URL: The website to where a visitor should be delivered after clicking the Call to Action button.
  4. Click Save.
Multiple links or buttons can be added to the Web Notification banner.

Add a Schedule Genie Button

  1. Following the steps above to configure a web notification.
  2. Click the "Add call to action" link in the Calls To Action section, if a new button is required.
  3. Type the button text to be displayed, such as "Schedule Now," in the Call to action button text field.
  4. Add one of the following to the Call to action URL field based on the preferred action.
    1. Open Schedule Genie in a modal or pop-up window: javascript:TheConversionCloud.openWidget('sg', true)
    2. Expand Schedule Genie from its default application placement: javascript:TheConversionCloud.openWidget('sg')
  5. Click Save.

Add a Spotlight Button

  1. Follow the steps above to configure a web notifications banner.
  2. Click the "Add call to action" link in the Calls To Action section, if a new button is required.
  3. Type the button text to be displayed, such as "Claim Now," in the Call to action button text field.
  4. Add one of the following to the Call to action URL field based on the preferred action.
    1. Open Spotlight in a modal or pop-up window: javascript:TheConversionCloud.openWidget('cm', true) or javascript:TheConversionCloud.openWidget('sl', true, {offerId:XXX})
    2. Expand Spotlight from its default application placement: javascript:TheConversionCloud.openWidget('cm') or javascript:TheConversionCloud.openWidget('sl')
  5. Click Save.

Turn off Web Notifications

  1. Log in to the platform.
  2. Click Apps from the navigation menu, then click Web Notifications.
  3. Click the Active toggle to toggle the notification to Inactive.
  4. The Web Notification is now disabled or off.
